The default filtering mechanism uses the worlds

ability to determine what aspects of filtering
are applied based on the knowledge and
expectation of their local community. This

myclasses is a Virtual Learning Environment
(VLE) which enables teachers to find, assemble,
schedule and use online resources to facilitate
online learning effectively and easily. It
enables teachers to provide students with a
structured, clear and easily accessible online
learning experience.

What Will Teachers Do?
1. Search
The teacher uses the federated search facility
and associated metadata (i.e. Category, Audience,
Source etc) to find resources most suited to the
activity.

Evaluation will be ongoing throughout the program
focusing on both teachers and students feedback.
There will need to be some flexibility within
this evaluation based on the teacher and school
comfort levels associated with teacher use of
technology as well as time constraint factors. A
mailing list will be established and monitored
for the trial period. It will provide valuable
feedback about product functionality and use.
The questions will be incorporated into a FAQ for
further use.
