  • 26 Units of Credit
  • Pass the NC Competency Test or score a Level 3 or
    4 on the 8th Grade EOG
  • Pass the NC Computer Skills Test
  • Pass 5 EOC tests (Algebra I, English I, Biology,
    Civics and Economics, US History)
  • Successful completion of the NC Graduation
    Project

  • 4 Major Components
  • Research Paper
  • Product
  • Portfolio
  • Oral Presentation
  • The intent of the project is to demonstrate how
    you learn, how you would address a real-world
    project and how you can present your work to
    others.

High School CoursesTaken in Middle School
  • Beginning in 2007-08, students in grades 6-8 may
    receive graduation credit for math and foreign
    language taken in Middle School.
  • Must achieve level III or IV on EOC.
  • Must prove proficient on placement test in
    Spanish and/or French.
  • Grades received in middle school are not
    reflected in high school GPA
