1Lycett Award Competition 2008
2Each submission to the competition must include
two pictures of the daylily, one showing a close
up of the flower and the second clearly showing
the plant branching and bud count with an open
flower visible in the picture. Two pictures are
necessary so that both the flower and the plant
performance can be evaluated. For each
submission please indicate the category the entry
is entering and include key statistics such as
flower diameter, scape height, bud count and
number of branches. For spiders please indicate
spider ratio and for unusual forms the UF
category. No markings identifying the parents of
the seedling should be visible in the picture,
nor should there be any markings that might

DS members can submit up to two entries to any of
the following categories Miniature flowers lt
3 in diameter Small flowers gt 3 but lt 4 ½ in
diameter Large flowers gt 4.5 in
diameter Doubles Spiders (specify spider
ratio) Unusual Form (specify form as crispate,
cascade or spatulate)
