Step 1 Buying supplies

• Oil
• Oil Filter
• Name Brand Vs. Generic
• All the same with API seal

Step 2 Elevating Front End

• Ramps
• Jacks
• A Ditch
• A Curb

Step 3 - Breaktime

• Too hot
• Grab a drink, watch some TV

Step 4 Draining oil

• Place bucket underneath
• Small bolt on oil pan
• May have paint on it from last oil change place

Step 5 Oil Filter

• Twist off
• May need oil filter wrench
• Messiest
• New Filter
• Dip the mouth
• Tighten ¾ turn after contact
• Use a old rag to wipe off old oil

Step 6 Add oil

• Most engines take 4-5 quarts
• Check your owners manual
• Under a cap labeled OIL

Step 7 Move your car

• Start your car
• Oil pressure / Low Oil light will be on
• Dont worry unless its on for more than 10
  seconds
• Move car off ramps
• Shut it off

Step 8 Checking oil

• Pull out the dipstick
• Add oil accordingly.

Step 9 Cleaning up

• Pour old oil into a jug
• Milk and juice jugs are easist
• Take to a Recycling center
• Autozone, Wal-Marts TLE, any oil change place
