Major Accomplishments 2006-2007

• New web site launched June 11, 2007
• Applications downsized from 37 to 19
• School Counselor teaching certificate no longer
  a prerequisite
• Transitional Coaching monitoring of progress
  toward full certification moved to the district
  level

• Secondary teachers may add an endorsement by
  passing Middle Level PRAXIS exams (Math, Science,
  Language Arts, History, Geography, Economics,
  Political Science)

  Collaborations/Temporary Permits/Transitionals
• Adoption of 44 PRAXIS exams
• Imbedded NCLB HQT requirements into certification
