RECOMMENDATIONS TO BOARD
  • Take Current CFPS Exam
  • Continue an individuals CFPS designation
  • Valid for three years
  • Eliminate need for any additional education,
    experience or training to remain certified
  • Major Change to CPM
  • Individual would be required to take the current
    exam reflecting the major changes
  • Valid for three years
  • Designated by X.0 version of CPM

  • Minor Change or No Change to CPM
  • Accumulate re-certification credits from list
    of activities
  • Would extend certification for two years
  • Maximum of two consecutive extensions
  • Exam required at end of second extension
  • Only extends current level of certification
  • If a major change occurs only one additional
    extension would be allowed

  • Version Terminology
  • Use exact number on CFPS certificate
  • 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.x rather than 4 dot series
  • Take class similar to FP230 to make certification
    current
  • Would not extend certification expiration date
