Tech Prep in a Nutshell

• Provides an opportunity for students to begin
  career planning and challenging course work
• Career Technical Education Specialist visits
  the Tech Prep classroom and discusses career
  pathways with the students
• Students sign up for Tech Prep on a Program Plan
• Communication plan in place postcards and
  letters to parents
• At specific points in their career pathway, they
  participate in a joint assessment to earn college
  credits.
