  • The International Society of Gender Medicine
    welcomes you to the
  • 2nd International Congress of Gender Medicine
    2007, in Vienna, Austria,2nd - 3rd June, 2007
  • which focuses on the scientific impact of
    biological sex/gender on normal function and the
    experience of disease in women and men. The aim
    of the Congress is to invite an international
    group of experts in this field to provide the
    audience with an overview of the latest
    scientific data and information on all the
    sub-specialities of medicine.
  • The Congress will provide the participants with
  • 1. Up-to-date information about gender-specific
    features of patient care in all the
    sub-specialities of medicine. 2. Data to show
    that gender-specific medicine improves patient
    outcome. 3. New avenues of communication and
    collaboration between the members of the faculty
    and the audience. 4. A compilation of abstracts
    culled from the proceedings of the Congress will
    be published in the indexed journal Gender
    Medicine. 5. An opportunity to join the newly
    formed International Association of Gender
    Medicine.6. The foundation of a body of knowledge
    needed to construct a system of optimal practice
    of gender-specific medicine.
