22What is Scoping?
- Scoping is the earliest opportunity to
participate in the National Environmental Policy
Act (NEPA) and the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) review of the Project. This
meeting is important because it - Gives you an opportunity to identify
- project issues early in the process
- Ensures that your issues are addressed
- in the environmental study, and
- Documents your input in the
- environmental process.
