NAME THE BABY PANDA CONTEST

100 Day Panda Cub Naming Celebration

• Considering the high infant mortality rate in
  China, the 100th day milestone results in a
  special celebration for infants. In keeping this
  custom, the Atlanta Zoo will name baby panda cub
  on her 100th day, December 15th at 1000 am. For
  additional information, visit www.zooatlanta.org.

• Atlanta New Century School will participate in
  the naming celebration. Each Class will select
  one of the 10 unique names by December 9th.
  Teachers will then vote online at ajc.com by
  December 10th. Winners will be announced on
  December 15th at 1000 am at Zoo Atlanta. The
  class who selects the winning name will receive
  a prize.

preschoolers learn intheir month long study of
China? Pandas eat bambooand cant eat meat.
People in China eat rice in bowlswith
chopsticks. Chinese invented gunpowder,
firecrackersand umbrellas. Visit the Pre-K Class
