only you will find words with your weekly
patterns in text

• Write the words you find in a book, magazine,
  newspaper, or other source under the column they
  fit.

Sentences

Using the words from your weekly sort, you will
write 10 sentences. Underline the word in the
sentence that is from the sort. You must use at
least two words from each pattern.

• I like to bake cookies on the weekend.
• The picture was in a black and white frame.
• The vase was made from red clay.
• The kitten was a stray so we took it home.
• The dog was wagging its tail when we saw him.
