connect to the district Facebook page, and much,

Sign In 1. In the upper right corner is the
sign in area (click) 2. This opens a new window.
Type dist428\firstname.lastname, tab, then
type password. Enter. Congratulations!

Edit Content 1. Before going any further,
lets make sure your page editing toolbar is
showing (Site Actions in upper right corner,
fourth item down). 2. Click Edit Page. Now
you can add, change, or
delete anything on the
page.

Edit Content (contd) 3. Click Edit Content
or the black arrow to the upper right of the web
part you want to edit (we will show you) 4. Click
on Modify Shared Web Part 5. Click on Rich
Text Editor.

as if you are working with a Word document. 7.
Click OK at the bottom right of the window. Wait
for the page to refresh. 8. PUBLISH

Upload Documents 1. You can upload
documents or images either to a library or to a
web part. 2. Lets start with a Document Library
upload, since that will be the most common. 3.
Click Edit Page.

Upload Documents (contd) To add Document
Library Web Part 1. Click Add Part. 2.
Select from web part list. If the library is
already there 1. Click on Add Document.

Document Name In most cases you will click on
the Browse button and select the file from your
folder. Be sure the file is named so your users
will recognize it easily. 4. Ignore version
comments and click OK at the bottom of the
window. 5. PUBLISH check in.

Image/Add Image/Click picture icon. 3. This opens
a new window (Edit Image Properties. Usually, you
will click on browse, opening another window

image library, or click upload (similar to
the document upload. 5. Click OK on the Select

Upload Images 6. You may want to specify the
size of the image in the heading at the bottom
of the window. When you are ready, Click OK on
the Edit Image dialogue window. Wait for the
page to refresh. 7. PUBLISH and check in.
