• Overview In this RWLO, students applied Math to
  predict the value of currencies. Also, they found
  the reasons of the currency behavior, as well as
  the relation of their prediction with the
  reality.
• Students Learning Objectives Search for specific
  data, Graph construction, Use linear regression
  to find the equations that best fit the data
  collected, Analyze the importance of an issue to
  our global society.

• Provide students with specific direction of how
  assessing the project Gather information
  Construct four line graphs reflecting the values
  of Dollars, Sterling Pounds, Euro, Francs Find
  the equation that fits the data Find the reasons
  for the behavior of each graph Predict values
  (Trend lines) Analyze the relation of the
  prediction with the real facts.

  to solve a real life problem.

  websites related to this topic. Also, they may
  complement their work by using mathematical
  software like TI-Interactive or a graphing
  calculator.
