29PLEASE BE WATER WISE Have you ever wondered what
kind of impact Holiday weekends in The Hideout
have on the water system? The answer is a
significant one. Average daily water usage in
the community is normally around 450,000 gallons
per day. On a Holiday weekend usage ranges from
700,000 to 800,000 gallons per day. Thats more
than enough to fill both of the 340,000 gallon
water towers! As your water supplier we ask that
you please be water wise, not only during the
Holidays, but everyday. Help us to protect and
conserve this precious resource. In the words of
Benjamin Franklin, When the wells dry, we know
the worth of water.
