Case History

• Training tapes and CDs from the famous Harry Wong
  collection have been stolen from the Rutherford
  County Schools Teacher Center.
• The Teacher Center is located in a separate
  building but is part of the Rutherford County
  Schools Central Office.
• In addition to the Harry Wong tapes and CDs, many
  resources are available for teachers at the
  Teacher Center. The resources include books,
  magazines, instructional tools, bulletin board
  materials and much, much more.
• The Harry Wong collection walks a teacher, either
  novice or veteran, through the most effective
  ways to begin a school year and continue to
  become an effective teacher. This is the most
  basic book on how to teach.
• Anne McCraw, the Teacher Center Coordinator,
  stated that several instructional personnel were
  in and out of the Teacher Center on May 29th,
  2007 she thought this was a bit strange as all
  of those ladies were already Extremely
  Effective.
• Investigators have recovered a set of
  fingerprints, a footprint and a coded email.
• Twelve employees from the Central Office
  departments of Instruction and Technology were
  working on projects and professional development
  on that date.

  crime.

Mission Goal

  identify the perpetrator of the given crime.

Mission Objectives

• Function as a member of a collaborative team
• Complete a Special Agent Investigative
  Assignment
• Interrogate suspects to establish opportunity
• Translate a coded email by using an online
  translator
• Analyze a fingerprint sample by comparing with
  known fingerprints of suspects on the QX3
  microscope.
• Estimate the approximate height of the suspect
  given a forensic footprint sample and
  mathematical equation.
• Collaborate with investigative team members by
  sharing results from investigative assignments.
• Solve the crime by identifying the perpetrator.
