  • Willingness to assume and demonstrate leadership
  • Willingness to assume responsibility and
    accountability as a mentor
  • Willingness to help set goals, coach, and give
    feedback

    relevant to the needs of the mentee.

Expectations of a Mentor

Conclusion
  • Mentoring program will only work if all parties
    are willing to invest time and effort and
    recognize to be successful must work together.
  • Additionally we must reward individuals that are
    participating in the mentoring program by
    ensuring they will receive appropriate
    recognition and avenue mobility to higher levels.
  • Communication must exist at all levels in order
    to ensure the success of the program.
