School Mascot and Colors

• Stanfords university is the tree. Their colors
  are cardinal (red) and white.
• The nickname for Stanford is the Cardinal, and
  was made into that by the reference of one of the
  schools colors.
• Its motto is basically Die Luft der Freiheit
  weht, which means the wind of freedom blows.

Student Enrollment

• Over 14,454 students were enrolled this year in
  many degrees and sections of the campus.
• Many of them were graduates of Stanford
  previously in the past couple of years, but many
  were also freshmen looking for a fresh start in a
  new school and environment.
• Over 50,000 students are currently enrolled in
  Stanford.
