• Went OK, considering how many changes we went
  through the week before, but
• Tentatively decided to delay directors review
  until October
• Would mean shutdown jobs would be a fait accompli.

• Need more on justification for projects and how
  things get into the plan
• More documentation!

• Keep our arguments to ourselves

Linac Feedback

• Quad power supply upgrades
• Good idea
• Need more detail
• LLRF upgrade
• Probably a good idea
• Need more detail
• Both projects need an estimate of benefit of
  improved stability to Booster

• General
• Need to at least discuss longitudinal dynamics
  issues, even if theyre covered by something else
  (Run II, RRT).
• Combine with Gamma-t section
• ORBUMP/400 MeV project
• Good shape
• Need commissioning plan
• Beam dump relocation
• Good shape
• Need to quantify benefit
• 30 Hz harmonic
• Need to work on our physics case
• Abandon if hopeless

• Consider increasing quad power from .1 to .25

Main Injector Feedback

• Multibatch operation
• Need a more explicit plan
• Collimation and radiation
• MI-8 in good shape
• Need more definite plan for ring collimation and
  overall radiation issue

• Can we get them all in if we get the full 14 week
  shutdown?

• Weve come a long way, but still need to clarify
  whether we will need any dual PA RF cavities.

Budget and Schedule Feedback

• Lots and lots of comments, mostly from Peter G.
• This is why we have a project support team.

Projections

• Based on current slip stacking performance,
  projections for NuMI get pretty grim.
• Need a better plan for increasing batch intensity
  and pushing NuMI slip stacking.
