  • Four taught modules (30 M CATS each) and
  • dissertation (60 M CATS)
  • Module 1 Formative assessment and assessment for
    learning
  • Module 2 Summative assessment and assessment of

  • Module 4 Issues in Assessment

  • Modules 1, 2 and 4 can be taken singly as PG
    Awards for practitioners who do not want or need
    an MA
  • Any 2 of the above can be combined to form a PG
    Certificate
  • All 4 modules can be combined to form a PG Diploma

  • Successful completion of any 2 of modules 1, 2
    and 4 entitles students to
  • Associate Membership of the CIEA
  • Successful completion of all 4 modules entitles
    students to full
  • Membership of the CIEA
  • Successful completion of the MA entitles students

  • Fellow status of the CIEA
  • Students wishing to become
  • Chartered Educational Assessors offered one
    to one support by University in preparation of
    portfolio which is independently assessed by CIEA
