New Conversion Approach

• No Longer Need to Support SGML Panorama
• More modular approach
• Generic conversion from SGML to XML (C)

• Use XML DTD which contains only character entity
  definitions to Unicode points (including STIX

  the original markup (Visual Basic / DOM / XSLT)
• Add attributes to facilitate internal linking

• Add markup to point to new converted versions of
  images
• Add markup to point to image versions of math
• Convert math markup to MathML
• Other publisher specific customizations, as
  needed.
