Who are we?

• The International Students at Bocconi (IS_at_B) is a
  student-run association that was originally
  founded by DIEM students in 2002.
• It has been restructured in 2005 with the
  election of a new executive board

The Goals

• The association aims at promoting an
  international environment inside the University,
  where people are able to share opinions on
  different international subjects in order to
  learn about different cultures and societies.

Our Mission

• "Through the creation of initiatives aimed at
  international students, we want to promote their
  active participation and integration within
  Bocconi. IS_at_B aims also at fostering spirit of
  co-operation and understanding between students
  coming from different cultures, through our
  programming and opportunities."

• Buddy system for upcoming students with the
  International Students Office
• Conference and Research Paper on Corporate Social
  Responsibility
• Cultural trips to Venice and Como
• Assistance to international students
• Skying-trip
• Social events

Our questions to Bocconi

• Do we want Bocconi graduates to be simply
  graduates, or do we want them to be future global
  leaders?
• Does Bocconi want to be among the best
  Universities in Italy, or does it want to be
  among the best Universities in the world?

Our Proposal

• We propose the creation of 3 interrelated
  projects
• Bocconi Model United Nations (MUN) Team
• Bocconi High School Model United Nations targeted
  at European and International High Schools
• Bocconi International Model United Nations
  targeted at North American and European
  Universities

Bocconi MUN Team

• Bocconi will send through the IS_at_B its official
  delegations to the MUNs simulations around the
  world
• IS_at_B will dedicate itself to provide the best
  preparation for the delegations
• Students will gain the expertise needed to run
  MUNs inside Bocconi

Bocconi European MUN

• Bocconi University will be able to attract
• delegations from the best high schools and
  international colleges around Europe

  America and Europe

  three stakeholders of the University

  annual MUNs and sent their MUN teams worldwide
  for many years so far
