set great developer community still - Maturing phase

8MMS
- MMS content (200 x 200 pixels max)
- Development generally compilation and
development is not overly difficult if you come
from a web design and development background as
the media types are almost the same, Gif, Jpeg,
WAV and text. - Obstacles open delivery mechanism and customer
acquisition are the barriers at the moment.

9MMS
- MMS content Professional Level
- Although already have heavy investment in digital
content management systems, quite simple to
extend systems to manipulate content to a
suitable form for MMS use add on components
eventually (Documentum, Vignette) - But distribution is difficult as methods/business
models immature - Digital rights management restricting aggressive
entrance and marketing by large media companies
Tim Richards 30 July 2003
10MMS
- MMS content Consumer Level
- hundreds of consumer based sites to get MMS
content and many tools to compose MMS messages. - Eg Sony Ericsson (web based and PC client
version) http//www.sonyericsson.com/fun/ - Sony Ericsson MMS Home Studio free software used
to create MMS templates in a PC environment. Can
then download them directly to phone using
infrared connection between PC and mobile. - MMS Composer in Google
