48) Allah is the one Who sends forth the winds s
o that they raise the clouds then He spreads
them in the sky as He wills, and breaks them into
fragments, hence you see rain come out from their
midst when He aims it (the rain) upon whomever
He wills of His servants, behold, they rejoice!

tidings, amongst His Mercy when they have
carried the heavy clouds, We drive them to a land
that is dead, cause rain to descend thereon, and
produce every kind of harvest therewith thus
shall We raise up the dead perchance ye may

Do not thou see that Allah makes the clouds move
gently, then joins them together, then makes them
into a heap? then thou see rain issue forth from
their midst. And He sends down from the sky from
mountain masses (of clouds) wherein is hail He
strikes therewith whom He pleases and He Turns it

Science and The Clouds The first scientific stud
y of clouds began in 1803, when a method of cloud
classification was devised by the British
meteorologist Luke Howard. The next development
was the publication in 1887 of a classification
system that later formed the basis for the noted
International Cloud Atlas (1896). This atlas,
considerably revised and modified through the
years (most recently in 1956), is now used
throughout the world.

• Classification of Clouds
• Cirrus Clouds
• High altitude clouds found at about 8 km or more
  composed of Ice and snow particles
  
• Stratus Clouds
• Lower to mid atmosphere (about 1.5 to 8 km) found
  in abundance near coasts and may descend to
  become fog. They produce calm rain or snow
  falls.
• Cumulus Clouds
• Extends vertically as heaps found in unstable
  atmosphere where temperature drops sharply with
  height. This type of cloud is associated with
  thunder storms, hail, tornados and bursts of
  heavy rain.

Clouds as Pollens Dr. Sweidan mentions the idea
that wind carries special particles that are
essential to the production of rain. In this
sense these particles act as pollens to the
clouds. However, after researching this aspect,
it does not appear to be an established
scientific fact yet. A research work is underway
that examines the effect of micro organisms in
the formation of clouds and causing rain (ref

The desert Arabs who lagged behind will say to
thee "We were engaged in (looking after) our
flocks and herds, and our families do thou then
ask Forgiveness for us," they say with their
tongues what is not in their hearts. Say "Who
then has any power at all (to intervene) on your
behalf with Allah, if His Will is to give you
some loss or to give you some profit? But Allah
is well acquainted with all that ye do.

ator Many medical references continue to refer t
o the heart as a simple pump whose function is to
circulate blood around the body. At that there is
unanimous agreement that it is the worlds most
powerful pump due to the fact that it continues
to pump non-stop for a life time. No man-made
pump can ever come close to that.
Recent studies strongly suggest that the heart is
far more that just a pump. In one study, it has
been found that the heart emits very strong
electromagnetic waves. The magnetic field is
found to be five thousand times stronger than
that emitted by the brain and can be measured
from a number of feet away with a magnetometer.
The amplitude of the electrical field is about 60
times greater than that produced by the brain.

The heart's electromagnetic field

Previous studies have concentrated on the
communication coming from the brain to the heart.
Recent studies suggest that communication between
the brain and the heart is two way. The heart
communicates with the brain in four ways through
the nervous system connections, through chemical
agents such as hormones, through body pressure
waves and electromagnetically. The rhythm of the
hearts electromagnetic field is modulated
(altered) by the emotional state of the person.
These studies are being used to investigate
methods to improve performance. Research
indicates the intriguing finding that the
electromagnetic signals generated by the heart
have the capacity to affect others around us.

that in a conversation with a Saudi research
doctor he was informed that people who undergo
heart transplants lose their emotions and normal

introduced to them they react as if nothing new
has happened.
