Born and Raised

• Judith Jagermann was born and raised in Karlsbad.
• When she was eleven and half years old her mama
  got a letter that said that they all must report
  to the Prague's Exhibition Halls.

Beginning of Journey

• Judith and her family were dragged into cattle
  cars all the way to their first concentration
  camp- Auschwitz.

Roll-Calls

• When the Jews were taking there roll-calls they
  had to stand out in the freezing cold for hours.

Auschwitz

• When they were at Auschwitz they had hardly any
  food or water to survive.

Clothing

• Judith and other Jews had to wear over- sized
  rags that did not cover their whole body.

Living Conditions

• Prisoners slept in wood bunk beds that were hard.
  They had barely anything to cover with.

Death March

• Judith and her mom had to go on a death march for
  days.

Bergen-Belsen

• When Judith first arrived in Bergen Belsen, she
  saw a mound of dead people.

The Rescue

• After staying at Bergen-Belsen for two weeks, the
  camp was liberated by the British. The Jews were
  finally free.
