  • STAFFING REQUIREMENT
  • Agencies with one person on staff that is
    bilingual
  • This person can be part-time, but not volunteer
  • This is non-negotiable
  • Even some partner agencies are not eligible to be
    listed as of today for this reason

    services to the Latino Community
  • For profit agencies or programs that provide
    needed services that are not otherwise available.

  • That have at least one full-time staff person who
    runs the community program

  • Private, for-profit service providers
  • UNLESS THEY MEET THE INCLUSION CRITERIA LISTED
    ABOVE, e.g.
  • Bilingual Staff
  • Unique services not otherwise available via
    non-profit agency

  • Services available only to members of a specific
    organization or affiliation
  • Churches that offer no special community-based
    service components for the general public.
  • Individual, for-profit child care facilities

  • Any organization that promotes or delivers
    services that are illegal

  • Any organization that discriminates on the basis
    of color, race, religion, ethnicity, nationality,
    sexual orientation, or ability!

IMPORTANT!
  • These policies do not prohibit the inclusion of
    any programs that target services based on age,
    gender, health, disability or other
    characteristics designed to meet the special
    needs of the targeted populations. (E.g. senior
    services or preschool services)

COMPLAINTS/REMOVAL OF AGENCIES
  • Agencies may be removed if they meet one or more
    of the following criteria
  • Failure to adhere to inclusion criteria and
    guidelines
  • Documented history of poor customer service
  • No longer provide bilingual services to
    individuals
