18Medication
- Not allowed on school grounds is safest for all
- Over the counter medication can become a
violation. If you can take it at home you are
expected to take it at home.
- Any medication that is carried must be over the
counter-non prescription pain relieving
medication like Tylenol and Ibuprofen.
- If Benedryl or other a signed form is required
from home and DR. and it is to remain in the
nurses office.
- PINK for Dr. orders and parent supportmeds kept
in nurses office. See Millie for help.

- Passes are required to enter Health Office
- Use for appropriate reasons, fever, illness,
physical symptoms
- Not a place to plan to sleep
- Please respect that the health office is
available to serve who present health concerns.

- Providing a bridge to specific resources and many
comprehensive services to support youth and
families.

22Can I be suspended for fighting in school?
- Yes, you can
- Investigations
- Criminal charges could be filed

23Can you define Hazing?
- Committing an act against a student, or coercing
a student into committing an act, that creates a
substantial risk of harm to a person in order for
the student to become initiated into a student
organization - SAHS is a student organization, activities,
clubs, etc.
- Could include physical or emotional components,
forcing the use of chemicals, or depriving
individuals of basic needs
24But its OK to haze during Homecoming right?
- No, its not.
- Hazing taken seriously

unexcused absence?
- Excused absences are verified
- Medical Appointments, illness, court, family
emergency/funeral or admin approved absence
- Make appointments after school hours
- Make up work is your responsibility
- Unexcused absences
- Absences not approved
- Skipping, leaving class, forging notes,
oversleeping, missing bus, leaving school grounds
may result in loss of parking permit
- Work credit may not be given/expectations may
include completing the work
