What are the goals of the JAGS program?
  • To teach our students the importance of
    Chesterfield Countys Core Values
  • (Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and
    Accountability)
  • To teach our students to skillfully use these
    values in their daily routine
  • To have a consistent and united program for our
    school

4
Code of Conduct
  • We revised the Code of Conduct in the student
handbook. This will go home with each student
during the 2nd week of school, and a signature
from a parent acknowledging the handbook will be
returned. (In addition to county book)

Behavior Management Program
  • This is a school wide program that fosters
consistent expectations and consequences using a
    color system.
  • Positive reinforcement is given on a daily,
weekly, quarterly, and end-of-the year basis.
  • A Social Skill of the Week will be announced at
the beginning of each week to be modeled and
practiced in the classroom, as well as printed in
the Jaguar Journal. This will begin week 2, as
week 1 will focus on teaching the expectations of
    the program.
