2Teachers are special people.
- Learning is the best type of wealth.
- Its easy to carry with you, thieves cant
steal it, -
- bullies cant take it from you, water and fire
-
- cant destroy it.
- When you share your learning, it grows instead
- of getting less.
5th Century Tamil Poem

9Be professional, not modest
Teachers seem peculiarly resistant to learning
how to use an interview as a sales pitch. This
may be because we are a naturally modest
profession, because our academic training makes
us very self-critical or because we tend to
denigrate those who pass themselves off well in
interview as being merely good talkers.

14Thought for the day
Planning is an unnatural process - its much more
fun to do something. The nicest thing about not
planning is that failure comes as a complete
surprise, rather than being preceded by a period
of worry and depression.
Sir John Harvey-Jones
