    trade or, in the absence of overwhelming
    strategic importance, they will not flourish

    routes

  • Should not require extensive manufacture prior to

    American boundary changes are outputs of European
    conflicts
  • Boundaries are determined by height of land and
    geographical features, which explains their
    shapes
