• analyzing problems will require you to find
  missing parts like e, a, b, and c.
  
• e can be found by converting the equation into
  its proper form.

Finding the Vertices

• the vertices for a polar eq. with cos? are at
  angles 0 and p
  
• the vertices for a polar eq. with sin? are at
  angle
  
• when these angles are plugged into the polar
  equations the trig functions become 1 or 1

Orbits Revisited

• ellipse have a special polar equation that uses
