28Scheduling Timeline
- Initial course request material will be mailed in
April to be verified by parent. - Final recommendations regarding student placement
are due May 18, 2007, which gives students ample
opportunity to demonstrate ability level. - Updated course request verification will be
mailed in June.
- Class cancellations will be rectified on an
ongoing basis once the master schedule is
determined. - Schedule and/or placement changes WILL NOT be
made after July 13, 2007. - Final schedules will be mailed home one week
prior to the first day of school.
29Registration Appointments
- For your childs benefit, and to make the
transition to high school as smooth as possible,
parents are encouraged to attend their childs
registration appointment.
30Helpful Hints for a Successful Appointment
- Complete course selection worksheet prior to
appointment. - Choose two alternate electives for each elective
selected. - Come prepared with questions.
- Remind your child the
- morning of your scheduled appointment as
their presence is key to this process.
