Background to the Hungarian teacher training

• Different levels of education ? different
  institutions of higher education

• - compulsory courses in psychology and
  pedagogy (theoretical emphasis)
• - compulsory teaching practice and school
  visit (actual teaching is 15 classes)
• - special final exam at the end of teacher
  training

Conclusions and suggestions

• Schematic view of teaching emphasis on finding
  the best method (not the best suitable for the
  students)

• School psychology be aware of the problems and
  conflicts (we cannot afford losing good teachers)
