• A. Virtual Slides (Whole digitized slides)
• 1. Leverage existing work of caTissue, caTIES
  and Federated archive by providing a standard
  imaging platform for visual tissue archive and
  annotation.
• a. Used to capture images of tissue in
  caTissue to allow researchers to better select
  material for research.
• b. Use to capture images of tissue from
  caTIES and federated archive
• c. Support cross institutional projects that
  need pathology tissue review by committee. No
  longer need to send slides around, use whole
