Using a Photo as a Slide Background

• Select Format ? Background
• Click the List Arrow and select Fill Effects
• Click the Picture tab
• Click the Select Picture button
• Browse to your picture
• Click Insert, then OK
• Click Apply to apply to a single slide
• Apply to All applies photo to all slides

• Graphics Interchange Format
• A bitmap image format for pictures
• Use 256 (or fewer) distinct colors per frame
• Employs lossless data compression
• File size of an image may be reduced without
  degrading visual quality
• Used on the Web for diagrams, buttons, etc.
• Not suitable for photos

• Download an image
• Choose Insert ? Picture ? From File
• From PowerPoint
• Insert ? Movies and Sounds ? Movie from Clip
  Organizer
• Select Movie
