Highlighting /Annotating in PowerPoint Put
all your pictures into a presentation. Use the
text or drawing tools to highlight what you want,
If you don't have the proper contrast because a
picture is too colorful or to busy then tint the
background area of the text or drawing area.
Right click the shape choose format shape and
change the transparency and/or color of the
object to something that (lightens or darkens)
contrasting with the picture colors. Once
you have what you want then save the presentation
out in JPG or BMP format. To do this go to File
/Save as change the Save as type to BMP or a JPG
file. Keep looking it is an option in the
selection box -scroll down.( I prefer BMP for use
in papers)  Then follow the dialogue directions.
A folder will be created on your machine with all
your slides converted to individual BMP or a JPG
picture files. You can then import these files
into your paper.
