Podcast
  • A podcast is a digital media file that is shared
over the web using syndication feeds, for
playback on portable media players and personal
computers.1 A podcast is a specific type of
webcast which, like 'radio', can mean either the
content itself or the method by which it is
syndicated the latter is also termed podcasting.
The host or author of a podcast is often called a
podcaster. The term "podcast" is a portmanteau of
the name of Apple's portable music player, the
iPod, and broadcast a pod refers to a container
of some sort and the idea of broadcasting to a
container or pod describes the process of
podcasting. More about the name itself can be
found in the history of podcasting article.

Blog
  • A blog is a user-generated website where entries
are made in journal style and displayed in a
    reverse chronological order.
  • http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog
  • I like blogs because you are able to get other
people from the internet to critique your work or
agree on something that you have written.

Wiki
  • A wiki (IPA 'w?.ki? or 'wi?.ki?1) is a
website that allows visitors to add, remove, edit
and change content, typically without the need
for registration. It also allows for linking
among any number of pages. This ease of
interaction and operation makes a wiki an
effective tool for mass collaborative authoring.
The term wiki can also refer to the collaborative
software itself (wiki engine) that facilitates
the operation of such a site, or to certain
specific wiki sites, including the computer
science site (the original wiki) WikiWikiWeb and
    online encyclopedias such as Wikipedia.
  • It is great because wiki provides information
about everything and you are able to easily
    access that information.

RSS
  • RSS is a family of web feed formats used to
publish frequently updated digital content, such
as blogs, news feeds or podcasts.
  • http//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_(file_format)
  • Easily access to getting digital feeds from the
    internet.

Streaming Video
  • Streaming video is multimedia that is
continuously received by, and normally displayed
to, the end-user whilst it is being delivered by
the provider. The name refers to the delivery
method of the medium rather than to the medium
itself. The distinction is usually applied to
    media that are distributed over
    telecommunications networks, as most other
delivery systems are either inherently streaming
    (e.g. radio, television) or inherently
non-streaming (e.g. books, video cassettes, audio
CDs). The verb 'to stream' is also derived from
this term, meaning to deliver media in this
    manner.

  • An easy way to send video to others.
