Roles and Responsibilities
  • TRAC-FLVN chairs the C4ISR FACT composed of
    stakeholders from the MS community.
  • The C4ISR FACT is organized into an Executive
    Committee and at least three focused research
    areas (FRA)
  • C2 (Lead BCBL-L)
  • Communications (Lead CECOM)
  • ISR (Lead Army G-2)
  • Each FRA determines the number and composition of
    representatives for their area.

FACT Actions
  • Identify and Publish Critical Research Areas
    (CRA)
  • Solicit proposals/implementation plans from
    industry, academia, government, etc. to work on
    the identified CRAs
  • Review and prioritize proposals
  • Present prioritized proposals to AMSEC for
    funding
  • Annually publish research plan
  • Monitor each funded project and recommend
    continuance or termination to AMSEC
