• Quick Write Look at sample logo packets. Find a
  logo you like and read the information about it
  (designer, client name, etc.). Why do you think
  this is a good visual symbol or representation of
  the company? Why do you think this logo won a
  national award? What is cool or interesting about
  it?

2. In class assignments 1. Finish the pear
(create all parts then put it together). Save it
in your illustrator folder as yourname_pear.ai
2. Illustrate a scene with at least 2 symbols
that you have created. Use the symbol tools to
create variety in your scene. Save it as
yourname_scene.ai 3. Use the bezier pen to
create an illustration of a simple object (an
apple, an umbrella). Using the mesh tool,
colorize this object. Lastly, add some type on a
curved path. Save as yourname_object.ai 4. Put
all your practice files into a folder named
yourname_illustrator and put in the homework
folder
