• Questions Answers
• Q What are the uniform colors for Adamson Middle
  for the 2009-2010 School year?
• A The students at ADAMSON will be required to
  wear Khaki or Blue or Black pants/skirt/shorts
  and a white or orange or blue shirt (with a
  collar). All shirts must have a collar and all
  shorts and skirts must be no shorter than 3
  inches above the knee. Use the finger test to
  determine if the shorts/skirt are appropriate for
  school.

• Q What grade levels will be required to wear
  uniform attire during the 2009-2010 school year?
• A All students in grades 6, 7, and 8.

Why Uniforms

• Q Does my child have to wear a specific shoe
  style or color with the uniform attire?
• A Yes. We are requesting that your child wear a
  white or dark colored shoe that is acceptable
  based on the dress code information located in
  the student handbook.
• Please note that flip flops, shower shoes, skate
  shoes, and house slippers are not permitted.

Why Uniforms

• Q What will be the consequence for students who
  choose not to adhere to the uniform dress policy?
• A We will have a uniform pantry that will be
  used by students who do not wear the proper
  attire. Students will have to leave their
  non-uniform clothes in a secure location until
  the end of the school day. At the end of the
  day, they will be able to retrieve their clothing
  and they will be required to return the borrowed
  uniform clothing.

• Q What type of assistance will the school
  provide if I cannot afford to purchase a uniform
  for my child?
• A This will be addressed on an individual
  basis. The counseling department PTSA will
  assist with this.

• Q Will my child be able to wear a different
  color jacket or sweater over the uniform shirt
  during the school day?
• A No. If your child decides to wear a jacket
  or sweater in the school building throughout the
  day, the jacket, sweater, or hooded sweater must
  be consistent with the uniform dress colors
  (white or orange or blue).

• A Please see the attached website for a list
  of vendors and stores that sell uniform clothing.
  Please note, that we are not promoting the
  individual vendors, but would like for you to
  have options for making your purchases.
