UNIFORM

• Type Green Shorts and Grey T-Shirt (no wind
  shorts)
• Shoes All students must wear tennis shoes.
• Socks All students must wear white socks. A
  pair should be kept in the basket.
• Name All students are required to put their
  names on their uniforms.
• Uniforms will be taken home each Friday to be
  washed, and returned on Monday.

Baskets and Locks

• Each student will be assigned a basket, laundry
  bag, and combination lock.
• Baskets should be kept neat at all times.
• Each student is responsible for making sure his
  or her basket is in the proper slot and locked at
  all times.
• A lost lock costs 7.00 and a lost laundry bag
  costs 5.00.

Towels and Showers

• Students will have the opportunity to shower
  after each activity. We encourage this as part of
  good personal hygiene.
• Towels should be placed in the proper container
  after use.

Care of Facilities

• The dressing room is to be kept neat and clean
  daily. Do not be destructive to benches, wall,
  or baskets.
• Waste baskets are located in the dressing rooms
  for your convenience.
• Soda cans are to be placed in the trash cans and
  not left on the benches. Failure to throw away
  cans will result in the loss of soda machine
  privilege. Sodas will not be purchased before
  class and will not be taken out of the dressing
  room.
• We will follow the School Management plan on any
  misbehavior.

Safety Regulations

• Any type of injury or accident should be reported
  to the PE coach immediately.
• There should be no running or playing around in
  dressing, showering, or roll call areas.
• Again, the School Discipline Management plan will
  be used in cases of misbehavior.

Care of valuables

• Valuables should be left at home.
• Watches, rings, bracelets, or any other jewelry
  are not to be worn with gym uniforms (excluding
  medical bracelets or necklaces).
• If a student should bring valuables to class, he
  or she is responsible for them. They should be
  locked in his or her basket.
• We have a problem with misplacing, losing and
  stealing of articles in the locker rooms. Be
  careful with your belongings.

Other rules and PE Regulations

• The following rules which are broken could result
  in points being deducted from a students grade.
• 1. The gym and playground areas are the only
  places where the gym uniform should be worn.
• 2. Do not wear a gym uniform, shoes, socks, that
  are not your own DO NOT BORROW !
• 3. Wear only gym shoes on the gym floor.
• 4. Conduct outdoors must not be distracting to
  other classes.

• 6. Do not enter the office without permission
  from the teacher always knock.
• 7. Do not abuse equipment.
• 8. Do not talk during roll call, or when the
  teacher is giving instructions.
• 9. No gum chewing.

• 10. A student must participate in PE unless
  excused by a parent or doctors note. A parent
  note is only good for three days, if specified.
  After the three day period, a doctors note is
  required. A student is required to dress out,
  regardless of note, every day. Excessive days of
  non-participation will result in points being
  deducted from the participation grade.

• 11. All students must be dressed in their PE
  uniforms and at their roll call numbers by five
  (5) minutes after class has begun. Failure to do
  so will result in an unexcused tardy.
• 12. Conditioning, running, and exercise are a
  very important part of the PE program. Failure
  to participate will result in points being
  deducted from the participation grade, and/or
  referral to the office. The School Discipline
  Management Plan will be followed as needed.

• Grades will be based on the following
• 1. Participation 25
• 2. Dressing Out 25
• 3. Skills Test 25
• 4. Nine Weeks test 25
