Yahoo Voice

• Protocol SIP (using TLS) and RTP (media)
• Yahoo Voice is a VOIP PC-PC, PC-Phone or Phone-PC
  service.
• It is integrated in Yahoo Messenger

Comparision

• Ease of Use Yahoo Messenger is too powerful,
  heavy and overloaded. Skype is superior in for
  just making phone calls.
• Compatibility Skype has a Linux and Mac version.
  Yahoo Voice dont have a Linux and Mac version.
• Cost In terms of call rates, Yahoo is twice as
  good as Skype.

• Call and Sound Quality Skype is far superior to
  Yahoo Voice especially when the client is not a
  fast network.
• Community Skype is way behind Yahoo in terms of
  number of users.
• Skype can traverse through NATS and Firewalls
