Day 1- Class Activities
  • Read about class objectives to class.
  • Continue the subject of music genre last class.
  • Result Most students prefer Popular music.
  • Inquire them about their favorite songs.
  • -Request them note down their favorite songs.
  • Ask them Where they can hear their favorite songs
    as well.
  • Result They hear the songs from MTV program,
    and radio.
  • Write down their answers on the white board.

Day 2- Pre-Computer Activities
  • Ask them any experience of Live DJ show and
    computer skill.
  • Discuss about DJs job in class.
  • Write down their answers on the white board.
  • Give them computer-tutorial on how to use Media
    player and MS PowerPoint for next class.

Presentation of the Lesson
  • Model the activity next class.
  • -Introduce my favorite- Beautiful Soul
  • Have students search musical information of their
    favorite on MTV.com or Google.
  • -The title of the songs, the authors, the
    singer, the story of the songs.
  • Divide students into groups of five.
  • Have them write a short prospectus for a DJ show
    for MTV.
  • Record (download) their favorite and insert the
    song and introduction of DJ show in PowerPoint at
    home.

Day 3- Student Practice
  • Set up the scene by telling students to pretend
    as DJs.
  • Have students present 10 minutes individually.
  • Explain the reasons why they like that song that
    they record after PowerPoint presentation.

Day 4 Follow Up Activities- DJ show party
  • Have a party at school at Friday evening.
  • Invite DJ as a host of the party.
  • After party, have students prepare interview
    about DJs.
