  • Portfolio Requirements

Step 1 Organizing Your Work
  • Portfolio should be placed in one of the
    following formats
  • Spiral bound
  • 3 ring binder
  • Report cover
  • Gather all of your materials and organize into
    the order of the stations

Step 2 The Cover Page
  • Find at least one appropriate image to use on the
    cover
  • Created by you, downloaded, photocopied
  • If you took it from somewhere, give credit on the
    back of the cover
  • If you have a Report Cover thats not
    transparent, the Cover Page will be the first
    page the viewer will see.

Step 3 Table of Contents
  • Your Portfolio must contain a Table of Contents
    that lets the reader know where your reflections
    for each station are located
  • So, you need to number your pages

Step 4 The Station Assignments
  • Work that you have created will appear in your
    portfolio for each station
  • Each Station should have an individual title page
  • These pages do not have to have images on them,
    but it is encouraged
  • If you do include images, creativity points will
    be awarded

Station 1Songs of the Vietnam War Era
  • Prepare a compare/contrast response (about a
    page long) using your responses to the questions
    on the Song Analysis Worksheets for the two songs
    you did in class
  • Minimum of one page, double spaced
  • Prepare your homework essay about the popular
    song from your lifetime
  • You must also include, on a separate page, a copy
    of the complete lyrics of the song youve chosen

  • Using the worksheets from the two sources you
    chose, create a fluent response (about a page
    long) which addresses the questions on each sheet
  • Include your reflection on the significance of
    the role of women in Vietnam
  • Creativity points for including a visual element
    relating to women in Vietnam, with an explanation
    of its relevance to the topic

  • Using the worksheets from the two video clips,
    create a fluent response (about a page long)
    which addresses the questions asked.
  • Write another response for Judge Me by the
    Footprints I Leave Behind, being careful to
    address the questions on the Document Analysis
    Worksheet

  • Place copies of the two poems you analyzed in
    your portfolio
  • Include your reflection, following 3 on the
    assignment sheet

  • Write a fluent response (about a page long) which
    addresses the questions on the Document Analysis
    Worksheet for the remarks by General Haig
  • Write a fluent essay on your reflections from the
    artifact analysis of the sculptures and the wall

  • Based on what you have learned throughout this
    experience, develop a short message to the
    soldier whose rubbing you made from the virtual
    wall. Some ideas
  • A letter to him or his family
  • A brief statement, poem, etc..be creative
  • For extra credit, you can mail a letter to any
    surviving relatives he may have. Of course, I
    will preview it first
