• Objective The lunch line and lunch area will be
  a safe and clean environment where people
  interact with courtesy and respect.

Responsible Cafeteria Behavior

• While in line, students will keep hands, feet,
  and objects to themselves.
• Students will use quiet voices in the lunch line
  and cafeteria.
• Students will pick up trash
• and discard in trash cans.

Coming to Lunch and Lunch Line

• Students will walk and form one line along the
  north side of the quad.
• Students will enter quietly
• and follow the directions of
• cafeteria supervisor to enter
• one of the four serving lines.
• Students will quickly select
• food choices.

Coming to Lunch and Lunch Line

• At the end of the food line students will quickly
  enter their student cafeteria number.
• Students will be seated at the first available
  table.
• Students may sit with friends, but may not save
  seats.

Lunch Area Procedures

• Students will use quiet voices when talking.
• Students will keep hands, feet,
• and objects to themselves.
• No food will be allowed outside
• the cafeteria unless given permission.

Lunch Line Procedures

• Students will walk to the lunch area.
• Students will stay in their seats and raise their
  hands to get help or assistance.
• Students will eat quietly and use good manners.
• Everyone will treat others with respect.

Dismissal

• Students will clean up their own areas and raise
  their hand to be dismissed..
• After checking students area for cleanliness,
  supervisor will dismiss student.
• Students will place all trash in the nearest
  trash can and walk quietly to the quad.

Consequences for Infractions

• Verbal reprimand
• Positive practice students try again.
• Students go to the end of the line.
• Students accompany the supervisor for three
  minutes.
• Students shadow supervisor or administrator for
  the remainder of the lunch period.
• Office referral for dangerous, illegal, or
  insubordinate behavior.
