Accelerated Reader Guidelines

• Must test within reading range.
• Quizzes cannot be retaken.
• Must have student ID or reading teacher present
  to test in library.
• Can only test on books read this school year or
  over the summer.
• AR quizzes ARE movie proof.
• Testing for friends or receiving help on a quiz
  from a friend is considered CHEATING!

Independent Reader

• Read 3 books at 1.2 level or higher and pass
  quizzes.
• Must have a total of 10 points.

Independent Reader Certificate

• .50 for Student Store

Super Reader

• Read 3 books worth 1 point or more and pass
  quizzes. Must get five more points for a total
  of 15.

Super Reader Certificate

• 1.00 at Student Store

Advanced Reader

• Read 3 books worth 2 points or more and pass
  quizzes.

Advanced Reader Certificate

• 1.50 at Student Store

Star Reader

• Read 3 books at a 5.0 reading level or higher AND
  worth 5 points or more and pass quizzes.

Star Reader Certificate

• 2.00 at Student Store

Classic Reader

• Read 3 books at a 7.0 reading level or higher AND
  worth 10 points or more and pass quizzes.

• 2.50 at Student Store

• Friday, October 24th

50 Point Club

• Invited to attend special fieldtrips throughout
  the year
• May check out up to 4 books from the library.
• Only members will have access to new library
  books for the first 30 days.
• May cut in line at the Student Store
• Free admission to all basketball games
• Locker in the cafeteria

100 Point Club

• Free admission to ALL school functions.
• Dances, Talent Shows, etc.
• Field trip to Circus/Circus Adventure Dome.

Monthly Library Drawings

• Listen to the daily announcements for the books
  of the month.
• Read these selected AR books pass quiz.
• Circle passed quiz and place report in drawing
  box.
• Certificates to Barnes Noble
