• Do this in remembrance of me.

• Tonight is both an evening of mourning and
  rejoicing.
• Why?

It is a sad night because

• He asks his disciples to pray with Him, but they
  all slept.
• He was betrayed by some of His closest friends.
• He was arrested by the very people He would save.

But it is also a joyful night because

• He gave a new commandment.
• He showed us how service must be.
• He gave us His Body and Blood.

• Tonight is a Holy Night
• Because this is the night when WE found out how
  much God loves us. FOR LOVE OF US He was willing
  to suffer and die.
