• Team taught interdisciplinary (CS Philosophy)
• Open to all students (no prerequisites)
• Recapitulation of historical development of
  AI/Robotics with readings from philosophers and
  AI researchers
• Two papers and a robot
• Robot development / testing / exhibition
  approximately 1 (of 3) weeks of the course

Robot Assignment

• Road following, with mechanism for passing
• Implemented as concurrent behaviors (after
  reading Brooks)
• Lab report discussion of whether robots were
  intelligent.
