Bruce Lees childhood
  • Bruce lee was born on the Chinese Year of the
    Dragon.
  • He was the third of his parents, Lee Hou-Cheun
    and his mother Gracdie Lee.
  • Bruce Lee had his name changed a lot until a
    nurse from the hospital suggested that he had an
    American named so he didnt have any
    complications on his birth certificate.

Growing up
  • With in a few months Bruce Lee and his parents
    moved back to Hong Kong. His father after World
    War 2 found a job in the entertainment industry.
    So Bruce Lee was traveling with his dad and often
    given a role in the film.

Solving Bully Problems
  • One day Bruce ran home from school and complained
    to his parents that he was being bullied. He then
    asked them if he could learn Kung Fu so he could
    defend himself from bullies. His father was
    already a practioner of Tai Chi, but Bruce found
    it to be to slow for his liking and he was also
    only interested in learning how to defend himself.

Movie Life
  • Bruce Lee was only six years old when he started
    in the movie business. At the age of eight years
    old, Bruce appeared in another film entitled Fu
    Gue Yun meaning Wealth is like a dream. By the
    time he was 18, he had appeared in 20 films.

The Streets
  • Like many other Chinese kids living in Hong Kong,
    Bruce spent most of his time on the streets as a
    kid. That is where he got in most of his fights,
    that is where he tested his fighting skills.

Lees Focus
  • Every year Lees focus on martial arts grew more
    intense. But Bruce never forgot his street
    fighting days and remained extremely mindful of
    the fact in a real self defense situation there
    would be no graceful bows.

Lees Feminine side
  • Although Bruce was always getting into fights and
    practicing his martial arts, he also had a
    feminine side. Bruce also studied dance, and once
    winning a cha-cha competition. But that didnt
    last long because not to long after he was done
    with dancing he became a member of a Hong Kong
    street gang.

  • Although Bruce was 5ft 7.5in he wasnt afraid of
    anybody. And he was always determined to test how
    good his martial arts were. He would fight any
    man no matter how tall or how big he was.

Bruce Lees Death
  • It was July 20 of 1973 Bruce Lee was trying to
    finish the movie, The Game of Death. Bruce had
    went over to his friend Betty Ting Peis house to
    talk to her about finishing the movie. While
    Bruce Lee was over there he had complained about
    a headache so Betty gave him a Equagesic which
    was a aspirin. Bruce went and slept for a little
    bit in one of Bettys bedrooms. Bruce never woke
    up.

Brandon Lee
  • Brandon Lee the son of Bruce Lee died after being
    shot in the abdomen during the film of THE CROW
    movie. He died on March 31, 1993 he was only 28
    years old. He was buried next to his dad Bruce
    Lake View Cemetery Seattle.
