13How to KILL a presentation
- If you want to give a really ineffective
presentation, make sure to write down the entire
text of the presentation on your slides. Always
use a small, serif font, dont use any bullets or
the like, and avoid white space like the plague!
Turn toward the screen as much as you can so that
you dont have to face your audience. Talk to
your screenit will not talk back, and that
should be comforting. When you dont look at the
screen, look at your notes and forget about eye
contact with your audience. But most important is
to have everything written out so that you can
read and read. That will assure that you sound
unnatural and use a tempo thats to fast or to
small. Oh, and dont forget to include typos!
