Water Conservation Tips

• Check your garden hoses and their connections for
  leaks or breaks.
• Select plants for your garden that are suited for
  this area and require little water.
• To reduce evaporation, water in the early morning
  hours or the late evening hours.
• Use soaker hoses in flower beds and other areas
  that you water frequently.

• Use lawn sprinklers that produce large water
  droplets, not fine mists.
• Water deeply, about one inch, every week. Deep
  watering promotes grasses roots to grow deeper
  into the ground.
